The first day of the vacation I've been dreaming of for years began with thunderstorms over the red rocks of eastern Utah. We drove a few miles north of town along the Colorado River until we found this campground with a covered area to set up. Next thing we knew it was 4 hours later and we were starving! See more photos and our accomplishments.

This is a very wonderful and superb scenery. I cannot wait that there was something this beautiful that exists in the world. The Colorado River truly is one of nature's gifts to us. I wish I can visit the place some time in the future. I'll definitely add this in my list of places to visit some day.

This is a really beautiful place. La Petite Plein is a really amazing place to be. I'd love to see this scenery, some day. I hope that you can post some directions on how to get here, and from how many days did it take. It doesn't seem like a very short ride from your story. I really envy you, for having to witness this very beautiful place.
