It's amazing to me all the colors there are in nature. Right now I seem to be fascinated with turquoise in all of it's incarnations. I did this piece last week. My daughter is my best critic - she is honest and has a good eye for art. She told me to stop when she thought this was finished but like most artists I had to put just one more stroke on and I think she was right!! Oh well, I like the result anyway. I hope you do too! So I've been painting like mad this past week and it feels great! This is a small painting I did from a photograph taken by my very talented niece, Lindsay. It was sort of an experiment to do something very fast and loose. I'm pretty happy with it.
