A little late with yesterday's painting. More flowers and landscapes.

I am getting in the Fall spirit already. It's my absolute favorite time of year! Pumpkin Patch, about 4 x 6, pastel on sanded card stock.
So, because I don't already have more than enough to do, I have accepted another 30 paintings challenge!! Well, it's a really good way to make myself sit in the studio and paint. Deadlines, you know? So here is my first post.....from a photo taken by my daughter at the Portland Rose Garden last April. You noticed it's not a rose did you? Right, roses don't bloom in Portland in April we discovered. But the azaleas and rhododendrons were fabulous! this one is a small 4 x 6 pastel on sanded cardstock.
I'm happy to announce that the beautiful eCatalog from last month's show at aRt Cottage in Concord has been released and you can get it here. I would post a photo, but I recently upgraded my phone and my computer (within a couple weeks of each other) and I'm still getting pictures and contacts into their respective new homes. BTW, I do not recommend doing those things at the same time. It was an epic lack of planning on my part.
Happy Friday!! Laurie I've finally updated the site with all of the new work produced in the past 2-3 months. Also reorganized things somewhat so that hopefully it's easier to navigate. Any comments are appreciated! This one is called "Mud Room", oil on panel, 6 x 6.
This is from a photo I took earlier this month in San Fransisco late in the afternoon. Going Home, 6 x 6, oil on panel |
